We become what we see.
So we must see the women in the Bible, study their courage and faithfulness, and imitate the example they've left for us in God's word.

What it is:
Matriarch Monthly is a monthly mail subscription devoted entirely to learning about and from the women in the Bible.
Not fluffy
Not reduced to moral lessons
Not told as cautionary tales or warning signs
Every month, we will slow down, look carefully, and truly see these women’s stories.
How it works:
Matriarch Monthly delivers lovingly created content about women in the Bible straight to your inbox, every month.
Each month we'll choose a biblical matriarch to focus on - in a pastoral-toned email at the beginning of the month, and a theologically-focused one at the end.
You'll also get an original piece of artwork based off her story.
Subscribers to our snail mail club receive the artwork as a 5x7" print...and other surprise, shimmery goodies!
What you receive:
Every month centers on one woman in the Bible; everything you receive that month centers her story.
Original artwork
-
An original piece of art of that woman, created by a female artist who loves the Lord herself.
 -
Digital subscribers will receive the print as a digital download, included in the pastoral email.
-
Physical subscribers will receive the 5x7 print in the mail...along with some surprise shimmery goodies!

Pastoral email
Sent the first week of the month to both digital and physical subscribers.

We’ll listen to her story like we’re sitting at her feet.
The women in the Bible will teach us how to stand up against unjust leadership (like Shiprah and Puah), speak the truth (like Rhoda), lead churches and welcome people into our homes (like Lydia), and so much more.
Complete with songs, poems, and sermons that will get us through the month ahead.

Theological email
Sent the last week of the month to both digital and physical subscribers.
We’ll examine the text like we’re scholars with a thesis to write.
Analyzing the narrative, interrogating the context, conducting character studies and navigating interpretive tension…we’ll do the theological work that God loves to see.
(And for sure include resources from other theologians so you can dive even deeper on your own!)
